2013/11/03: Halftime

Today was one of these (sun)days when I really love Toronto. Blue sky, sunshine, and wherever you go or sit there are friendly people from all over the world around you. The sunny sunday traditionally ended with good friends and a good Tatort ("Bombe. Krass. Alter").

What a pity, that I didn’t buy a (way too expensive) monthly pass for public transport this October. Now it's November and I'm back in the city. It’s so much better to read university texts in a bus or an inner city café than in my flat or the library. Halftime is already over, there are less than two months left to explore everything I haven’t seen yet, I have to hurry up. I started today with Scarborough (where I had to take pictures for an assignment) and North Village, where I found a nice café and a (way too expensive) Korean grocery store near the Eglinton West subway station. I haven’t finished all readings for next week yet, but I enjoyed a great, sunny day.

The August map was a map of North America, the Semptember map was a map of Toronto. The October map is something in between, reaching from Detroit to Algonquin Park, from Lake Simcoe to Lake Ontario, from Kitchener to Lincolnville. I'm curious how the November map will look like.
